I enjoy paint, print, mixed media and ceramics. Over the years, I have drawn inspiration from landscape and from the architecture of places I visit and live near, especially Durham Cathedral. 

More recently however, I have worked figuratively - a series called 'Flight' - inspired by my concern for the internally displaced people of Burma, but also thinking about the millions of displaced people around the world. From August 2010 until June 2011 I have been living with my family in Vietnam and Australia - the sketches I made in Australia are in the gallery called 'Images from WA'. I am now working on a new series from my experiences in Vietnam.
